+POOL Fall Swim Gala 2015

+POOL, co-founded by designers Dong-Ping Wong, Oana Stanescu, Archie Lee Coates IV, and Jeffrey Franklin, is a project that will dually function as a floating public pool and water filtration system in New York City’s East River. Friendly to families and competitive swimmers alike, the Olympic-sized pool will filter over 500,000 gallons of river water everyday, releasing notable amounts of swimmable water into New York waterways. As every Californian knows, access to clean water is a prevalent local concern, but it is also a mounting global crisis. We support +POOL and their forward thinking initiatives.
